Inner City Youth Mentoring

The two trips to East Saint Louis, IL work with inner city youth at the Christian Activity Center. This is an after school program for kids pre-K through 12. Each age group goes to different classes during the day like reading and math. There is time to help the kids with their homework and this year the groups will be designing fun games for the kids to play during their elective time. Some electives include: basketball, volleyball, soccer, language, art, dance, music, STEM. During the work week you are given Tuesday and Thursday off to explore the surrounding area and on work days you are there from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM when the kids go home. The kids arrive to the center around 3:00 PM, so we beautify the center before they arrive. Don't miss an opportunity to work with truly the best kids in the world!
